His knowledge and personality came through immediately and we told him that he was the man for the job. When the insurance came through, his crew went to work! It was cold and windy, but that didn't slow them at all! The work was done quickly and correctly! They removed sections of shingles and roofing paper and replaced it just as quick with new paper and shingles. They cleaned up as they went and you can't tell that they were ever here. They removed items that could have been damaged during the process. It was most impressive. J.B. didn't let us down, but we or should I say, the mortgage company let him down! It took more that 2 weeks for them to return the money that the insurance had previously paid. He was extremely understanding and never once pressured us for his money! He said he had dealt with mortgage companies similar to ours before. All we can say, "Thanks for keeping your promises and for being exactly what we expected!" Unfortunately it had not. I called many contractors/roofers to repair it. A few did come out and give estimates, some even went as far as to place caulking to fix the areas they thought were leaking; this, however, did not work. When I called the contractors/roofers to repair the area that was leaking they never showed. I fortunately happened upon J and H Home Improvements in the phone book. Within a few days I had an estimate on my roof and within the week the area around my chimney had been repaired; and to this day is still not leaking. I then wanted to change insurance companies, however, in order to be covered by my new insurance company I had to get my roof completely re roofed. I again called J and H Home Improvements and my roof was replaced in no time. The workers were very prompt and even worked on Thanksgiving Day to complete the work they had started on my roof.
